 The University of Portland Volleyball Club is in search of a volleyball loving, dedicated, energetic and athletic coach for their 2010-2011 school year. We are an all year club from the end of August to the first week in April. Our first year as a club was 2009-2010 and we are now ready to have a coach and play some competitive volleyball.
We are looking for someone that is available to run practice about twice a week and attend our tournaments. We are all college kids who have played volleyball before, however we need a guiding voice to help us run drills and stay on track. Next year we plan to have three upper level teams, two women’s teams and one men’s. We are either looking for someone who would like to coach all three, or looking to hire two different coaches. Since we are a school funded program, we do not have large sums of money to pay the coaches; however, we have put a coach into our budget. We hope that someone would want to help us for the love of volleyball!
