Reminder that there is NO league games tonight Thursday Nov 10th.
RC4's League Playoffs for this weekend Nov 12th 2011 at the Courts. Captain's meeting is at 8:30am, First serve is at 8:45am. No team will have a bye, you'll either be playing or reffing so everyone should be there by 8:35am. There will be one pool match then straight double elimination. If time allows, we might have a "don't be that team" match. Basically the 2 teams from each division that gets knocked out first will have a chance to play each other to not be "That Team"! |

Northwest Asian Sports is starting it's THIRD indoor reverse-coed 4’s league at The Courts in Beaverton. There will be a maximum of 16 team slots available for this season.

- One check for $320/team due first week of the league
League Format:
- 8 weeks of regular season play (starting September 15, 2011)
- All day, double elimination playoff tournament (Saturday, November 12th, 2011)
- 2 games to 25, cap at 25 - double header each week
- Teams will be designated for ref assignments
General Rules about reverse-coed:
- Modified USAV rules (indoor)
- No open hand tipping or directional blocking (no breaking the risk)
- Must have 4 players on the court
- 2 female players required on the court at all time
- Male players must jump behind 10 ft line
- Ball contacted by male players after stepping on or in front of 10 ft line must have obvious upward trajectory before crossing the net
- Male players are not allowed to block (or motion to block)

Yet another successful NWAS tournament. Huge thanks to all the came out to play as well as spectate. Being our first Reverse Coed Doubles tournament I think it went AWESOME! We had 25 teams and cash prizes went out to 12 teams, ya can't beat that! We'll be running one more RC2's tournament in our End of the Season tournament, definitely don't miss that one!
